Prospect Soccer Academy is proud to work with elite, professional-level coaches from the United Kingdom who join us throughout the year to support player development, training standards, and academy culture.
To support this initiative, we are seeking welcoming, reliable host families within our community to provide short-term accommodation for visiting coaches.
Becoming a host family is a meaningful way to support the growth of the academy, expose your family to high-level football culture, and directly benefit your child’s development.
What Is a Host Family?
Host families provide a safe, comfortable, and supportive home environment for a visiting coach during their stay in Southern California. Stays typically range from a few weeks to several months, depending on the coach’s role and program schedule.
Our visiting coaches are experienced professionals who are focused, respectful, and deeply committed to player development and mentorship.

Complimentary camps
Your child receives free access to structured training camps led by experienced coaches. These sessions ensure continued development while fully experiencing the hosting program.

Players gain firsthand insight into European training methods, philosophy, and standards. This exposure broadens their understanding of the game beyond local systems.

Host Family Expectations
All coaches are background-checked, briefed on expectations, and aligned with Prospect Soccer Academy’s values and standards. We aim to ensure a positive experience for both families and coaches. Host families are expected to provide:
- A private bedroom
- Access to a bathroom (private preferred, shared acceptable)
- Basic household amenities (laundry access, Wi-Fi, etc.)
- A welcoming, respectful, and family-oriented environment
